Part 52 Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses

CLAUSES, PROVISIONS, AND NOTICES

DSCC Part 52 contains the clauses, provisions, and notices (hereinafter referred to as clauses) used in DSCC acquisitions. It is in the same section sequence as the clauses appear in a DSCC solicitation/award. Clauses applicable to the individual procurement will be cited in the solicitation/award.

INSTRUCTIONAL INFORMATION

The full text of DSCC clauses may be viewed by selecting the Clause Number (3rd column) of the clause that you wish to view. The 1st and 2nd column are the local coding schemes and identifies which section of the solicitation/award that the clause will be found in.

The DLA code (2nd column) is as follows:
1st position - Identifies the Uniform Contract Format (UCF) section (A-M)
2nd and 3rd position - identify the equivalent FAR part assignment (Parts 1-53)
4th position identifies who published the clause (A - FAR, B - DFARS, C - DLAD, or D - DSCC Local clause)
5th and 6th position is the numbering sequence within the above-mentioned scheme.

The full text of DLAD (Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive) clauses may be viewed at the following link: http://www.dla.mil/Acquisition/Pages/DLAD.aspx

CLAUSES/PROVISIONS INCLUDED BY REFERENCE

Per FAR 52.102, the majority of clauses in DSCC solicitations/awards are included by reference. Any clause incorporated by reference has the same force and effect as if set forth in full text. For clauses that require a fill-in, only the portion of the clause necessary to collect the information will be inserted.

ARCHIVED CLAUSES/PROVISIONS/NOTICES

When a revision to a clause occurs, an archived copy of previous versions will be available. The archived number sited represents the code and the date of the archived document. To view an archived version on the list, go to the pull down menu at the line's far right column, select/click dated version.

ORDER OF PRECEDENCE

If there is an inconsistency between the date cited in the DSCC Part 52 and the date cited in the acquisition document, the latter takes precedence.
