About the Training Knowledge Opportunities (TKO) Program

Registration

The July 21-22 Training, Knowledge and Opportunities Seminar registration is closed. If seats become available registration will be reopened.
There is limited seating for all Seminars; once the seats are full registrants will start being placed on a waiting list. You will be notified by DLA that you are on the waiting list and then again if any seats become available.

    Once Registered
  • TKO Presentations and training videos are available.
  • Lodging close to DLA.
  • Maps and Directions to DSCC.
  • Registered participants for TKO onsite seminars or workshops should plan on arriving 45 minutes to one hour prior to the session start times. This will allow time needed to enter the facility through DLA security.

  • TKO

    The TKO Seminar is a session on teaching vendors how to start doing business with the Defense Logistics Agency. Vendors will be informed on how to find open solicitations, how to submit a quote through the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), the procedures for viewing/downloading drawings, and how to use Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) to get paid. There will also be topics of discussion on Alternate Offers, Source Approval Requests, Breakout Program, and the Parts Purchase or Borrow Program. All sessions are held at DLA Land and Maritime, located in Columbus, Ohio free of charge. The only cost you may incur is lodging, food and transportation.

    Webinars

    Webinars will be held for numerous topics throughout the year. The webinars are currently held via DCO and a URL will be provided to all registrants the week prior to the event. If there is a topic of discussion you would like to see covered please contact your local PTAC to possibly set up a session.

    Attention Foreign Nationals

    Foreign National’s wishing to attend a TKO session must be sponsored by their host nation’s government or by an international organization and have an official visit request submitted to DLA through their respective embassy or international organization no later than 90 days prior to the session(s) they wish to attend. Please have your respective embassy or international organization submit this Official Visit Request to the TKO office at TKO/Webinar Mailbox TKO/Webinar Mailbox.
